Research 101: An Introduction to Research
This on-line tutorial addresses research basics including concepts, vocabulary, and examples. Whether your design process uses research findings from academic studies or product information from manufacturer's studies, it is important to know how to use these results and what difference they can make to your practice. This tutorial will:
- refresh your research vocabulary
- increase your knowledge about research methods, and
- provide you with the rationale for use of research-based findings in design solutions.
The tutorial has been divided into three parts for ease of use. Be sure to take them at your own pace, but remember that all three parts must be reviewed to apply for the continuing education credits (.3 CEUs). Hope you find this addition to InformeDesign helpful.
