ASID is the Founding Sponsor of InformeDesign and continues to this date as a Platinum Level sponsor. Additional funding comes from several other generous sponsors in addition to funding by the Department of Design, Housing, and Apparel and the College of Design at the University of Minnesota. What's the best way to find some information about a specific topic? Searching for information can be done in two ways: 1) you can type in the topic or term that describes your interest in the "Search Searchable Database" box on the upper right hand corner of any Web page and click on "GO," or 2) you can browse through our categories listed under three main topics: Spaces, Issues, and Occupants by clicking on one of those three yellow boxes to locate Research Summaries that have been coded by InformeDesign using keywords within the Research Summary. |
When did planning for InformeDesign begin? Planning for InformeDesign began in fall 2000 with a planning grant from ASID to the University of Minnesota. Drs. Guerin and Martin presented the concept to ASID in September 2000. |
Why am I not receiving emails from InformeDesign about new Research Summaries or issues of Implications? I registered with InformeDesign and identified issues of interest in the subscription portion of the registration. If you are not receiving email notifications, it is highly likely that your firm's firewall or other internal security measures have blocked InformeDesign's emails to you. To ensure that you receive email notifications about new Research Summaries and issues of Implications, be sure to include InformeDesign (informedesign@umn.edu) on a "safe" list with your technology or systems administrator or receipt of these emails could be blocked from reaching you. |
